Delete your account

You can delete your Awny account and data at any time, free of charge.

From the app or website

Open "My account", choose "Delete my account", and confirm. This takes effect immediately.

Or message us

Send "Delete my data" on WhatsApp 01038511115 or to mos.awwad@icloud.com from the number or email registered on your account. We may ask a simple question to verify your identity first.

If you reached us through Facebook or Instagram, send the request on the same channel and we will delete the conversation history and related data.

What is deleted

• Name, phone number and email.
• Addresses and registered devices.
• Booking history and reviews.
• Conversations with us on all channels.
• Verification documents for service providers.

What may remain

Egyptian law requires us to keep invoices and accounting records for a set period even after the account is deleted, but **without your personal details**. We may also keep the minimum needed while an open complaint or dispute is resolved.

Timing

Deletion from inside the app is immediate. A request sent by message is completed within 30 days of verifying your identity, and you receive a confirmation.

Note

After deletion you cannot sign in or view your booking history, and the action cannot be undone. If you only want to pause the service, tell us and we will suspend the account instead.
