Awny connects you with home-maintenance service providers. This policy explains what we collect, why, who sees it, and how to delete it.

What we collect

• Your name and mobile number (and email if you add one).
• Your addresses and their map location.
• Your bookings, invoices and reviews.
• Work photos uploaded by the technician.
• Messages you send to support or to the assistant on the website, WhatsApp, Messenger or Instagram.

For service providers we also collect verification documents: national ID, commercial register and criminal record certificate.

Why we use it

• To fulfil bookings and send the technician to your address.
• To notify you about your booking.
• To verify your number with a WhatsApp code.
• To answer your questions.
• To improve the service and protect the platform from misuse.

Who sees your data

• A service provider sees your address and phone **only after accepting your booking**.
• Provider documents are visible to the admin team only.
• Reviews show a shortened name.
• Online payments are processed by Paymob; we never see or store card details.
• WhatsApp, Messenger and Instagram messages pass through Meta and are subject to its policies.

We never sell your data.

Notifications

If you enable browser or app notifications we store only the device subscription address, and you can turn them off at any time.

Retention

Your data is kept while your account exists. Invoices and accounting records are kept for the period required by law and tax rules, without your personal details if you delete your account.

Account deletion

From "My account" on the website or app, choose "Delete my account". Your name, phone, email, addresses and devices are erased immediately and the account is closed. Details: https://awnyapp.com/pages/delete-account

Security

Connections are encrypted (HTTPS), passwords and codes are stored hashed, and documents are kept in private storage.

Children

The platform is not intended for anyone under 18.
